Profile

Frank Erwin established Franklin Engineering in January 1993 to provide Mechanical Consulting Services to clients that want to make a wise investment in their building HVAC and Plumbing systems.

 Our projects cover a wide range of commercial buildings with a special emphasis on custom residential.

Frank Erwin Bio

Born and raised on a small cotton farm in the south Texas town of Mercedes.         I became fascinated with air conditioning because of the semi-tropical climate of Mercedes.

During high school I designed and built a small air conditioning system for my bedroom.

This was the beginning of a lifelong career in the HVAC industry

EDUCATION

  • Attended Texas A & M University majoring in mechanical engineering.
  • Transferred to Oregon State University, graduating with B.S. in 1967.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 20 years combined mechanical contractor experience working as a project engineer, design/build salesman, and estimator in Texas and Washington.
  • Aircraft HVAC design for the Boeing Co.
  • Application & Sales engineer for a Texas Carrier distributor.
  • P.E. license in Washington 1972.

Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in states of WASHINGTON, OREGON, IDAHO, ALASKA, & TEXAS.
